Follow two iconic characters from this former ossuary, the Cat and the Gravedigger, on an immersive audio tour.
Audio guides are available at the Rouen Sites et Monuments ticket office, in the courtyard of the Aître.
Adult tour :
During this immersive audio guide tour, learn about Aître Saint-Maclou through the colourful tale of an emblematic figure from this former cemetery: the Gravedigger. Stories, legends and anecdotes: he’s got plenty to say!
You will explore the courtyard by his side, discovering the history of the Aître and the many lives that have passed through it, from its past as a burial site to the present. But watch out: the Cat is lying in wait. The dark and charming interaction between these two characters makes it both an informative and amusing audio experience.

Tour terms and conditions
- Tour departure and payment at the Joan of Arc Historial, 7 rue Saint Romain (around 300 metres from Aître Saint-Maclou). To limit the number of people at reception, please designate someone responsible for these formalities in advance
- The site does not have toilet facilities, please make prior arrangements.
- Paid parking nearby
